Educating Parents about children development

Nannies are knowledgeable in the area of child’s development. Often they can educated and guide parents in this area.

Working Hours of a Nanny

There are no set working hours for a nanny as each family tends to have a schedule that is more appropriate to their needs depending on their working hours and personal life. Nannies generally work between 40-50 hours per week over a period of 5-6 days. However, for some families and nannies a rota schedule is more preferable, whereby the nanny will work for a certain period of time on and then a certain period of time off. This is more common overseas whereby families have a native English speaking nanny for two weeks and a native tongue nanny for two weeks so that the child’s language development is consistent in both languages.
